My parents came to visit us (okay, really to see Hudson) for two weeks in August. As usual, we put them to work fixing stuff around the house that we would never have had time or skill to do on our own. It was really good to see them, and we got a ton of great stuff done.

It’s suddenly September, and right on queue we are getting a much needed reprieve from an oppressively hot and humid stretch in August. But leave it to the Taylors to have gotten a brand new refrigerator on one of the the most oppressively hot day of the entire summer.
